The crimping machine offered by Umbilicals Intenational is suitable for the installation of a range of crimp on hose fittings that fit the full range of umbilicals offered by UI.
The crimping unit is hyraulic driven via an electric single phase power supply, which is an integral part of the unit.
The unit has a micrometer gauge that sets the crimp range to ensure every crimp, once set, is identical.
During the crimping process the positioning of the fitting can be visualy monitored via a rear mounted mirror. |
