Diving umbilicals are commonly supplied with D-Rings and or Snap Shackles.
The D-Ring is regularly fitted to the surface end of the diving umbilical, with a D-Ring and Snap Shackle fitted to the diver end of the umbilical.
The Snap Shackle allows the diver to quickly connect and disconnect from the umbilical, ensuring time is not wasted and also that the diver is not impeded when he finds it necessary to disconnect himself from the umbilical.
All D-Rings and Snap Shackles are made from high grade Stainless Steel, protecting them from rust while ensuring the life critical link is strong and secure. |
